One foot placed on the Alertamat will send a signal to the Alerta Wireless Receiver, (sold separately), this will then immediately trigger an audible alarm so help can be on its way.
With no wires, the Alertamat is simple and fast to set up with no complicated instructions, It is possible to connect the Alertamat to your nurse call system, alternatively, it can be used alone independent of the nurse call, directly to the wall-connected receiver.
