This Softform Bariatric Mattress is designed for patients whose needs cannot be met by other mattresses. It features additional thickness and strength making it perfect for the larger user. Soft and comfortable, it allows for weight distribution which helps to prevent the risk of pressure sores. The glide design and split at the backrest mean that it is compatible with profiling beds; this will reduce the need for moving and handling. Easy to clean for the highest levels of hygiene, the vapour-permeable fabric allows the skin to breathe, greatly reducing any damage caused by sweating or other liquid accidents. The base is made from a toughened PU-coated material which is designed to extend the life of the mattress.
