Basic Return To Base (RTB) Warranty

Our 'Return to Base' warranty covers all parts and labour required to repair any manufacturing defects that your mobility device may experience during the warranty period. Under this policy, in the event that your chair develops a manufacturing defect, it is your responsibility to return the product to our service centre.

Please note, while we ensure that all repair costs related to parts and labour are covered under this warranty, the arrangement and cost of transporting the chair to and from our service centre are not included.

Diamond Care Warranty

Diamond Care Warranty warranty goes beyond the standard coverage, encompassing not only all parts and labour necessary for repairs but also extending to cover the costs associated with any call-outs and the collection of your product for service in the event of a valid claim.

Under the Diamond Care Warranty, should your product experience any manufacturing defect, you can rest assured that the entire process of diagnosing, transporting, repairing, and returning your product will be managed and financed by us. This means that in the case of a valid warranty claim, you won't have to worry about the logistical hassles or expenses typically involved with getting your product serviced. Our aim is to ensure that your experience is as convenient and stress-free as possible.

Rest assured, for customers with Diamond or Ultimate warranty packages, we make every effort to respond promptly in the event of a manufacturing defect. Our goal is to address any issues at your premises within a span of 7-10 days. However, if the fault cannot be readily resolved on-site, we will arrange for the item to be collected, repaired, and promptly returned to you.

Please bear in mind that the typical turnaround time for collection, repair, and return is approximately 14 days, though it is possible for this duration to extend further in some cases. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated. It's important to note that, regrettably, we are unable to provide loan equipment or compensation during this period.

Our 5-Year Ultimate Warranty & Accidental Damage Cover expands on the protection our Diamond Care offers by additionally covering staining and accidental damage. This includes stains, rips or tears, burns, scratches, punctures, scuffs, and pet damage. It also protects against structural and mechanical defects. This means any issues with mechanical or electric recliners and their components, bending or breakage of metal components, damaged zips, castors, and buttons, separation of seams and stitching, lifting or peeling of leather, and loss of resilience in foam and fibre interiors are covered. This comprehensive plan is designed to ensure your furniture remains in excellent condition, offering you complete peace of mind against both accidental damage and natural wear and tear.

Please note that this option is not available if the chair is for commercial use eg. hospitals and care facilities where the chair will have multiple users

The Bariatric Rise and Recline Chair is the ideal chair for larger or bariatric users as it boasts an extra-wide seat of 720mm (28.3") and will accommodate weights of up to 200 kgs (31.5 stone). This luxurious Riser Recliner features a dual motor mechanism allowing independent operation of the leg rest and backrest providing countless recline options for finding the most comfortable position. The dual motors enable the leg rest to be elevated or lowered, and the backrest to be reclined independently, providing the user with countless recline positions. All this can be achieved using the easy-to-use 5-button handset with Smart Function which enables the chair to return to its standard sitting position at the touch of a button. Ideal for people with restricted mobility, the Bariatric Dual Motor Rise and Recline Chair will smoothly rise and tilt the user to a standing position. The ergonomically contoured seat and back are padded offering excellent comfort and the three-tier waterfall back design provides additional support. Mains powered, the chair is incredibly quiet when in use and has a battery back up facility in case of an emergency or a loss of power (batteries not included). The built-in pockets on the side are handy for attaching the five-button, touch responsive hand control or can be used for storing the newspaper or TV remote control. The chair is upholstered in excellent antimicrobial PVC that helps reduce the risk of spread of infection and is easy to wipe clean for improved hygiene control. Furthermore, it has been Crib 5 tested for fire retardancy making it suitable for use in nursing, care and residential Homes.

Accidents happen and that is why we offer an optional Staingard Plus furniture protection plan. Staingard Furniture Care plans cover structural failure, accidental damage and accidental staining.

The care plan provides cover for a comprehensive range of household accidents that result in damage or staining to your furniture. Following the delivery of your furniture you will receive a document detailing this and also how to make a claim. It's important to recognise that you're not covered for a lack of care of your furniture or abuse, and multiple stains and damages sustained over an extended period of time are similarly not covered.
