This armchair features a dual motor mechanism which allows independent operation of both the leg rest and backrest that helps to provide the user with a countless number of positions. The dual motors enable the leg rest to be elevated, or lowered, and the backrest to be reclined independently to give more flexible support options. All this can be achieved with a simple touch of a button on the easy to use handset. Designed for those users with limited mobility, the Nevada Dual Motor Riser Recliner will rise and the tilt the user in a smooth, controlled manner to a standing position. To provide the user with unrivalled comfort and support this Rise and Recline Chair is fitted with a well padded ergonomically contoured seat and backrest, to further enhance support the chair also boasts a three tier waterfall back. This rise and recline chair is upholstered in an antimicrobial PVC that helps minimise the risk of spread of infection and is easy to wipe clean for effective hygiene control. Additionally, it has been Crib 5 tested for fire retardancy making it suitable for use in nursing homes and large care environments. This chair is mains powered and is incredibly quiet when in use. A battery back-up facility also lowers the chair in case of an emergency or a loss of power (batteries not included). The built in pockets on the side of the chair are very handy for storing the four button hand control and can also be used for storing items like the newspaper or a remote control.
