Although exceptionally strong, the Alerta Bariatric Wheelchair remains remarkably lightweight, weighing just 14.8 kgs (32.5 lbs), allowing it to be easily lifted into the boot of a car when travelling away from home. Its reinforced, extra-thick upholstery promotes maximum comfort for the user, even when being used for long periods. Fitted with table-entry, padded armrests giving additional comfort when the Bariatric Wheelchair is in use. Suitable for use on most surfaces the Alerta Bariatric Wheelchair is fitted with large, puncture-proof 300mm (12") rear wheels and 200mm (8") front wheels. The height-adjustable footrests allow for highly comfortable seating position for the user and make this chair suitable for most users. This chair folds to a compact size for ease of transportation and storage.
