The Bedhead Hoist has been designed to assist when transferring a user from a bed to a chair, wheelchair or commode. Designed to fit into small spaces and modern homes this hoist has a small floorspace footprint and a fixing base for stability which is placed under the bed, out of the way to prevent trip hazards. The lightweight hoist can be quickly and easily assembled and installed without the need for wall or ceiling fixing. When not in use it can be broken down and simply fits onto a wheeled transport stand for convenience and manoeuvrability. The Portable Bedhead Hoist has been developed to fill a gap in the market between mobile hoists and ceiling track/gantry hoists.
