The Secure Turn Patient Turner uses a hand-operated locking device that lets the carer rotate the turntable into any of five positions while controlling the turning speed. The turntable surface is finished with a non-slip covering so the user has secure footing during a transfer, and the disk glides smoothly in both directions to allow gentle, controlled movement.

Stability is supported by fitted counterbalance points which reduce the risk of tipping while transferring. The unit sits on housekeeping wheels so it can be moved easily when the user is off the platform, and it uses two 4-inch rubber castors to aid portability across typical floor surfaces. The frame is made from high-tensile steel for a robust feel suitable for regular use in care settings.

A gently curved support frame gives the user something to hold on to and helps with correct positioning during the transfer. The turner is compact enough to use in rooms where space is limited and offers clear dimensions and capacity to help you decide suitability: the unit weighs 17 kgs and supports a maximum user weight of 222 kgs (35 stone).
