The Invacare ISA Compact Stand Assist is tailored for smaller users and confined spaces. Its compact, curved base and ergonomically shaped legs make it simple to position close to chairs and toilet pans, and the turning diameter of 1060 mm helps with manoeuvring in tighter rooms. The frame supports active transfers while keeping the overall footprint small for residential and community care environments.

Carer comfort and control are central to the design. Large ergonomic handgrips follow the natural shape of the hand and wrist to ease handling during transfers, while a range of adjustments including a six-position lower leg support and a swivel Ergo Support pad help protect the knee and calf and suit different leg lengths. The controls operate the lifting action smoothly with a lifting speed of 46 mm/s so carers can position users steadily and confidently.

Flexibility and practicality are built in for varied users and routines. The unit covers a wide height range from a minimum 1650 mm to a maximum 1800 mm overall and is suitable for recommended user heights between 1400 mm and 1800 mm. For storage and transport the ISA Compact can be dismantled without tools, making it easier to move between locations or keep out of the way when not needed.

Performance and capacity are designed for everyday care use. The stand assist weighs 43 kg and offers a safe working load of 140 kg (22 stone). On a full charge, it can complete around 82 lifts, which supports regular use over a working shift without frequent recharging.
