Product details

This Orbital Transfer Platform is an ergonomically designed patient turner that helps a weight-bearing user move from one seated position to another. The unit has a non-slip turn disk that glides in both directions, giving a controlled surface for the user’s feet. The overall shape and the curved support frame focus on a comfortable position and help reduce the risk of falling during the turn.

A hand-operated locking device lets the carer carefully rotate and secure the platform in any of five positions, with control over turning speed. Built-in counterbalance points increase stability while the platform is in use, and the frame is made from high-tensile steel for durable, steady support.

For housekeeping and storage the unit is fitted with housekeeping wheels and two rubber castors, so it can be moved when it is not supporting a user. At around 17 kg it is light enough to reposition by a carer, while the platform’s footprint keeps it practical for use in tight spaces.
