The Atlas 3 Transfer Disc is a Patient Turner that has been designed specifically for indoor transfers and gives carers a stable platform to support rising from or lowering into a seated position. The unit includes a slip-resistant turning disc to reduce unwanted foot movement and help the user rotate safely, and a stable circular base that keeps the unit steady during use. It is compact enough to position beside chairs, beds or toilets where a small, reliable transfer aid is needed.

Comfort and correct positioning are supported by an easily adjusted height-adjustable handle and adjustable knee pads, so the carer can set up the aid to match the user’s height. The handle and knee pad ranges are adjustable to help achieve a comfortable and balanced stance for the person being assisted. The standing surface is covered by a non-slip mat for better foot grip during rotation.

Safety depends on proper use: the carer must act as a counterbalance while the user holds the handles and maintains their own balance. The Atlas 3 is intended for people who can follow instructions, grip the handles and bear some of their own weight; it is not suitable for unaided transfers or where the user is unable to stand.
