The Alerta Ruby Auto Replacement System is a full replacement alternating pressure mattress built around a cell-on-cell airflow structure and a total depth of 20 cm. The deep alternating air cells provide a supportive, immersive sleeping surface that helps manage pressure across the body while offering stability during repositioning and care. It measures 200 x 90 cm and is rated to support a maximum user weight of 200 kg, making it suitable for a wide range of care needs.

At the heart of the system is an auto weight‑sensing pump paired with SensaCare Truflo Technology®, which uses constant pressure sensing with an air sensor and microcomputer regulator to maintain ultra‑low interface pressure. The mattress automatically adjusts interface pressures to the user’s weight and position, so settings rarely need manual changes. The pump operates with very low noise, supporting restful sleep and recovery.

The mattress includes a dedicated heel function that contains three heel cells fitted with removable one‑way valves so carers can create effective offloading when required. Cells are micro-perforated to assist airflow and are made from independently removable nylon TPU-coated sections for easier servicing and replacement. A built‑in pillow function gives extra head support without additional accessories.

Practical features support everyday care: a remote control lets carers adjust settings from the bedside, a CPR release provides rapid deflation in emergency situations, and the system includes anchoring straps, transport mode and hanging brackets for tidy, organised use. Mains cable management keeps leads neatly routed during routine use.
