This Single Arm Aluminium Trackwheel is designed to fit on wheelchairs with a rigid footplate and is the perfect companion for use on a wheelchair to allow a user to travel over difficult terrains. This outdoor, front wheel Trackwheel is ultra-light, easy to attach, and comfortable to use. The Trackwheel simply attaches to the footplate of the Wheelchair and provides the user with exceptional directional stability and transforms a wheelchair into a sporty vehicle to provide a new sense of freedom. When equipped, the castors are slightly raised off the ground, therefore, the Wheelchair is tilted backwards, this helps to reduce rolling resistance and allows the user to reach higher speeds for longer periods - as well as increasing directional stability and manoeuvrability.
