These Sunrise Empulse Wheeldrive Power Assist Wheels have been specially designed to help reduce strain on muscles and joints as they allow the user to drive continuously without the need to self-propel. The wheels have been carefully constructed to tackle those hard-to-navigate obstacles like thresholds, slopes and small spaces. Featuring Dual-Rim Technology, the Empulse Wheeldrive utilises a large hand rim that offers additional support whilst propelling, and a small rim to allows the user to continuously drive and reserve energy when handling an obstacle. Extremely easy to use and program, the rims have three speed settings to choose from, all of which can be tailored to the users individual needs. Fitting to almost any manual wheelchair, the Empulse Wheeldrive doesn't need any modifications or additional parts to fit and can be easily removed to swap back to the original wheels, or for travelling in a car, without the need for tools.
