The Alerta Sensaflex 250 Pressure Relief Cushion uses a high-specification memory foam filling to offer consistent support and comfort for long periods of sitting. The cushion measures 430 mm x 430 mm with a depth of 100 mm, making it a tidy square pad that suits most dining chairs, armchairs and clinical seating. Its foam core aims to improve pressure distribution while remaining comfortable throughout the day.

Hygiene is straightforward. The cushion has a waterproof cover that can be machine-washed at 65°C for at least 10 minutes or at 95°C for at least 3 minutes, then tumble dried on low heat (not exceeding 60°C). The foam itself is suitable to be autoclaved at 134°C, allowing thorough cleaning where infection-control procedures require it.

This cushion is designed for users at a high risk of developing pressure sores and is suitable for long periods of sitting in care, hospital or home settings. It supports a maximum load of 150 kg (23.5 stone), providing a stable seating surface for heavier users without compromising the memory foam comfort.
