The Alerta Sensaflex 200 Pressure Relief Foam Cushion is designed to provide effective pressure relief for users at a medium risk of developing pressure ulcers and those that spend long periods of time seated in a chair or wheelchair. This cushion is an ideal option for any medical facility operating on a budget and is suitable for care homes, nursing homes, hospitals and residential care environments. Its castellated foam construction helps to improve pressure relief by allowing small sections of the cushion to move the patient thus reducing friction forces, it also opens up pockets to increase airflow and keep the patient cool. To improve durability and quality of care, this cushion is fitted with a multi-stretch and waterproof cover. This vapour-permeable PU cover is antimicrobial, to reduce bacteria and odour, and fully machine-washable so that you can keep your patient's environment sanitary at all times.
