The Aktiv X5 sits on a lightweight modular aluminium frame that folds down for storage and transport, making it practical for outings and home use. A fold‑down backrest and compact folding help save space in a car boot or cupboard, while the frame finish in Metallic Sky Blue gives a neat, low‑maintenance appearance.

Comfort comes from several thoughtful touches: a supplied padded 50mm seat cushion, adjustable seat height and an adjustable backrest angle so you can tailor the chair to suit posture and activity. The flip‑back, detachable armrests with PU pads and the swing‑away, quick‑release leg rests make transfers and side access easier for both users and carers.

Practical safety and running gear include 24" rear wheels with solid tyres and 200 x 38mm front castors for low maintenance. The chair includes an anti‑tipper and a press‑button release safety belt for added reassurance when seated. Its construction is crash‑tested for vehicle transport, supporting safe travel when used with appropriate vehicle restraints.
