Manoeuvrability is a strong point. The chair is fitted with swivelling front castors to help attendants steer through corridors and bays, while the foot-operated braked rear castors provide secure parking. Two brake options are available: the pedal brake (Press On – Press Off) for foot operation and an autobrake mounted at the rear of the seat for quick locking by the attendant. A retractable footplate and drop-down armrests support easier side transfers and reduce the need for lifting.
