The Dash Lite 2 sits on a lightweight aluminium frame and pairs a compact footprint with practical features for everyday life. With 24" pneumatic rear tyres and puncture-proof front wheels, it is aimed at giving a smoother ride outdoors while remaining steady indoors. The frame folds down to a compact size for easier storage or car boot loading.

Comfort and ease of use were considered throughout. It has padded, wipe-clean upholstery for simple maintenance and swing-away, detachable armrests to help with side transfers. A lap belt is fitted for occupant security and the chair includes tie-down points for travel in Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles.

The Dash Lite 2 is offered in a choice of seat sizes to suit different users, with seat widths from about 16" to 18" and a maximum user weight of 127 kg (20 stone). The chair is notably light for its class, with a unit weight around 13.6–13.8 kg, making it practical for carers and those who need a portable solution.
