Why are both yellow lights on it flashing?

When both yellow lights flash, it normally shows that charging is in progress. Make sure it is correctly connected at both ends and inspect the leads for damage. If there is still no green light after 24 hours, seek further advice before using it again.

Can I charge it indoors, then take it to my shed to charge my scooter without mains power?

No. It does not store power and must be plugged into a mains socket while charging your scooter.

Will it recharge my Kymco K Lite folding scooter at events?

It can recharge scooters that use AGM or Gel batteries, but it cannot be used with Lithium batteries. Check your scooter’s battery type before use.

The OptiCharge Powerchair & Scooter Charger is an incredibly reliable and high-quality charger that can be used to efficiently charge both AGM and Gel battery types. Highly versatile, it is compatible with a wide variety of mobility aids and it features a unique, built-in battery failure system that is designed to detect battery failures. When a battery failure is detected the OptiCharge Charger will immediately stop the charging process. To help prolong the lifespan of a battery, the OptiCharge has a refresh mode that will detect if the batteries have been deeply discharged and initiate a 20-minute low current charge.
