Evacuation Sledge with Pouch

This Evacuation Sledge uses a dual inner foam construction to provide cushioning and support, together with a hard-wearing low-friction base layer that helps it slide over stairs, tiles, concrete and carpet. The cushioned top surface helps keep the user comfortable during movement, while the base material absorbs minor impacts to reduce jarring on descent.

Safety is supported by fitted safety belts and a strong foot pocket at the lower end, which helps prevent the user from sliding out. The sledge is fitted with straps on either end to give helpers a secure grip, and it is intended to be used by one or two helpers depending on the situation and the helpers' training.

When not required the sledge stores in its supplied pouch, which can be hung from a wall or door to keep it accessible. The pouch measures 26" x 25", making the unit easy to tuck away in a communal area, cupboard or staff room.
