Evacuation Sledge with Pouch

This Evacuation Sledge consists of a dual inner foam construction and has been designed to enable a patient to be assisted downstairs in the event of an emergency. Its base layer is incredibly tough and hard-wearing with the ability to absorb minor impacts, and is covered with a low-friction material that is designed to easily slide over most floor surfaces such as stairs, tiles, concrete or carpet. Its top surface is cushioned to ensure the user remains comfortable and protected during evacuation. The user is kept safe by means of safety belts and a strong pocket at the foot end, which prevents him or her from sliding out. The Evacuation Sledge is fitted with straps on either end and is designed for use by either one or two helpers. When not in use, the sledge can be easily stored in its own pouch and hung from a wall or door.
