Evacuation Sheet

This Evacuation Sheet is designed to be permanently in place under an anti-pressure mattress and aids in emergencies without requiring that the patient be transferred from bed to a chair. In normal use, the Evacuation Sheets sits beneath the mattress but if the user needs to be quickly and safely evacuated, he or she can be held securely in place by means of safety straps and then pulling straps can be released from pockets at either end. In this way, with the patient and mattress both safely inside, it transforms itself into a simple, flexible evacuation sledge. The underside of the Evacuation Sheets is made from a low-friction fabric that is designed to easily slide over stairways, carpets and other surfaces.
