Evacuation Overlay

This Evacuation Overlay is an anti-pressure overlay that is left permanently in place on top of a traditional sprung mattress. The Overlay is held onto the bed with tucks which double as cocooning flaps in order to provide ultimate safety for the patient during transit. It is 90mm deep and the topside is covered in a vapour-permeable, two-way stretch, wipe-clean material thus offering maximum hygiene. The bottom is incredibly tough and coated in PVC, this enables the Evacuation Overlay to easily slide over most floor surfaces like, stairs and carpets. The flexible nature of the Evacuation Overlay enables a patient to be transferred through narrow doorways with utmost ease.
