This Drive Lightweight Dual Wheel Powerstroll unit turns a standard manual wheelchair into an attendant‑controlled powered chair using a compact drive module. The drive is powered by a 100 watt, 12DC motor that gives a top speed of 3 mph and a maximum range of up to 10 miles (16 km) on a full charge. That range helps when you want to go a little further without stopping to recharge, and the modest top speed keeps control comfortable for most users.

Fitting is quick thanks to the one‑click docking station and the unit is operated from a multi‑function hand controller with a variable speed dial, forward/reverse and an illuminated battery gauge. The battery removes easily via a push‑and‑slide system for charging or storage, and the whole kit packs into the supplied carry holdall with shoulder strap, helping with transport and storage between uses.

Weights are kept low to aid portability: the unit weighs 7.5 kg excluding the battery, the battery weighs 6.5 kg and the combined unit weight is about 14 kg.
