The Tilton Chair is built around a tubular steel frame with an "H" section base to give extra rigidity and stability. A thermoplastic coating covers the frame, providing an anti-corrosive, peel-resistant finish that helps the chair look and perform well over time. This robust construction suits regular bathroom use where moisture is present.

The seat is a polypropylene moulded seat shaped with a curved profile for comfort and fitted with drainage holes to clear water quickly. The seat measures around 460 mm wide and 360 mm deep, providing a stable sitting area for most users, and the whole unit weighs 8.5 kg, making it easy to move in and out of the bathroom when needed.

For mobility, the chair comes with four braked castors so you can move the seat smoothly and then lock it in place for transfers or showering. The seat is height adjustable between 500 mm and 590 mm, allowing you to set a comfortable working and transfer height, and the chair supports a maximum user weight of 165 kg for reassurance with higher-capacity needs.
