The Strider ST1 keeps things simple when you need portability. Its compact design lets the scooter split into two main pieces that further break down into five smaller, lightweight pieces, making it easier to lift into a car boot or store at home. Assembly and dismantling are straightforward thanks to wireless connectors, so you don’t need tools to put it together. Despite the small footprint, the scooter is powered by a 250W motor and offers a maximum range of 6 miles (10 km) with a top speed of 4 mph (6 km/h).
Comfort and safety are built in around everyday use. The seat is well padded and rotates to help with getting on and off, and it adjusts to multiple heights so you can find a comfortable position; the tiller angle is adjustable for a tailored reach. For steady handling and reassurance there are anti-tippers, an integrated bumper, reflectors, a horn and puncture-proof tyres. A handy front shopping basket adds space for small items while you’re out and about.
