Q. How long should the battery last and why does it go flat after a few days unused?

A. With normal use and charging, the battery should last around 1–2 years, and sometimes up to 5+ years. If it is going flat after a few days unused, keep it on charge whenever it is not in use, avoid letting it run completely flat, store it fully charged in a cool, dry place, and check the terminals are clean and secure. The charger will cut off at 100% and then provide a small top‑up as needed, which helps prevent this rapid discharge.
