Sitting Pretty - Replacement Transformer & Lithium Battery Backup

Ensure you are never left stranded in your chair during a power cut with the Sitting Pretty Replacement Transformer & Lithium Battery Backup. This essential safety upgrade is designed to replace your standard power supply unit, providing a reliable safety net for your peace of mind.

While standard transformers stop working the moment the mains power fails, this unit features an integrated Lithium-Ion battery. If your home loses electricity, this backup instantly takes over, providing ample power to return your riser recliner to a standing position so you can exit the chair safely. Unlike older systems that rely on disposable 9V batteries (which often drain unnoticed), this rechargeable unit is constantly topped up by the mains connection, ensuring it is always fully charged and ready for an emergency.

Please Note: This unit is designed to remain plugged into the wall at all times to maintain its charge. It is an emergency backup system to prevent entrapment during blackouts, not a battery for wireless/cord-free daily use.

Features & Benefits:

• Prevents Entrapment: The primary function is safety. If a power outage occurs while you are reclined, the battery allows you to operate the chair to sit up and stand, ensuring you are not stuck.

• Superior Lithium Technology: Far more reliable than standard 9V emergency batteries. Lithium-Ion holds its charge longer and delivers consistent power to the motor, even under load.

• Direct Replacement: Designed to swap directly with your existing Sitting Pretty transformer "brick." It connects using the standard 2-pin plug found on most riser recliners.

• Always Ready: Because the transformer stays plugged into your mains socket, the internal battery automatically charges and maintains itself, so it is ready the instant you need it.

• Multiple Emergency Cycles: In a blackout, this powerful battery provides enough charge for several cycles, giving you confidence that you can operate the chair more than once if needed before power is restored.
