The Roma Lightweight Transit Wheelchair boasts an aluminium alloy frame which offers a balance of strength and ease of handling so carers can lift and load the chair more comfortably. The chair folds to a compact size, which helps when you need to store it at home or place it in a car boot. At around 13 kg the frame is light enough for regular use but still robust for daily handling.

The seating is a nylon cord upholstered seat and backrest with a fitted 50 mm deep cushion for everyday comfort. The upholstery is flame‑retardant for added safety and the seat sits at approximately 520 mm, giving an easy transfer height for many users.

Wheels are set up for stability and manoeuvrability with 300 mm solid rear wheels and 200 mm swivel front castors, helping the chair cope with uneven surfaces around town. Practical features include a 4‑position rear axle adjustment, swing‑in/out detachable footrests with heel loops and quick‑release anti‑tippers for additional security when required.
