Features and Benefits:
Genuine Pride GoGo Mobility Scooter battery box
Fitted with 2 high quality sealed lead acid batteries
A. Yes, it is compatible with the Go Go Sport scooter.
Q. How much does it weigh?
A. It weighs approximately 15 kg (33 lb).
Q. What size batteries fit the large battery pack?
A. The large battery case takes 18Ah or 22Ah batteries.
Q. Does it come with a charger?
A. No, it does not include a charger. You will need to buy one separately.
Q. Can it be recharged if the battery is completely flat?
A. If the battery has been completely flat for a long time, it may not recharge. Long periods fully discharged can cause permanent damage so it may no longer hold a charge.
Q. Will it work as a longer-range battery for my Pride Go-Go Elite?
A. Yes. It can be used to increase range on most Pride Go-Go Elite models, provided your scooter is designed for 12V 22Ah batteries. Always match the original battery size and type.
Q. Is it compatible with the Pride Jazz Zero Turn scooter?
A. No. The Jazz Zero Turn needs separate 40Ah batteries, so this battery pack will not fit.

A. Yes. It contains two 22Ah sealed lead-acid batteries and can be charged with your existing Pride GoGo scooter charger.
Q. Is the battery box the same size as the 18Ah version?
A. Yes. The 18Ah and 22Ah battery boxes are the same physical size.
Q. How should I charge it for the first time?
A. Give it an initial overnight charge of 8–12 hours before first use, then leave it on charge between uses. The charger will switch off when full and apply a gentle trickle charge to maintain the batteries.
Q. Is this battery pack allowed on British Airways flights as hand or checked luggage?
A. It contains 2 x 22Ah sealed lead-acid (SLA) batteries, not lithium. Airline rules for SLA batteries vary, so you must confirm with British Airways whether they will accept it in hand luggage or checked baggage.
Q. Can I take it on a coach?
A. It uses sealed lead acid batteries, which are generally safe to transport, but you should always check with the coach company first.
Q. What is supplied in the box?
A. The box is fitted with 2 x 22Ah batteries.
Q. Will my existing charger work if I fit higher capacity 22Ah batteries?

If you're chronically sick or disabled, VAT relief means you can buy certain items VAT free, which saves you money. Charities can get this benefit too, by just giving their charity number. To qualify, you need to have a long-term health issue that really affects your day-to-day life, a condition that doctors say is ongoing, or be terminally ill. But, it's not for people who are only temporarily disabled (IE Broken Leg) or just elderly.
Getting VAT relief is quite simple. During checkout you just have to say who the items are for and what their health condition is, with no need to show any medical documents, it only takes a few seconds!. But, remember, this only works for certain items made to help out, like mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and bath lifts.
