The Calibre has been carefully designed with the 5 key principles of moving and handling in mind to ensure ease of use and optimum safety and support for both the patient and carer alike. Incredibly sturdy and robust, the Calibre Mobile Hoist boasts an impressive safe working load of up to 385 kgs (60 stone) that allows it to meet the unique demands of bariatric care in today’s modern healthcare environment. As standard, the Calibre is supplied with an integrated digital weigh-scale that provides accurate measurement of weight for ongoing patient observation. This weigh scale is extremely compact and easy to use thanks to its intuitive controls and dual display. The Smart™ Monitor control system records the exact amount of work completed by the actuator each and every time the lift is used, regardless of a patient’s weight or lift height covered. The intelligent system advises the user to schedule key maintenance helping to ensure your lift remains in optimum condition. To allow for easy access around armchairs, wheelchairs and other furniture, the Oxford Calibre features powered adjustable legs and for optimum manoeuvrability it comes with twin pivoted front castors.
