The NRS Tetrapod Walking Stick uses a four-legged base that is centred beneath the handle so all legs remain close to the floor. This continuous ground contact gives a steadier platform than a single-point stick and helps reduce wobble when you pause or shift your weight. The base measures a wide footprint (175 mm x 208 mm), which spreads support over a larger area for improved balance on flat surfaces.

Each leg is fitted with non-marking, slip-resistant rubber ferrules to improve grip on smooth floors and to protect surfaces from scuffs. The stick has an ergonomically shaped handle that helps create a secure hold even for users with limited dexterity. You can change the handle height easily between 710 mm and 965 mm so the stick can suit different users and standing postures.

At around 1 kg, the tetrapod is light enough to lift and carry between rooms, yet it supports users up to a maximum of 127 kg. Its straightforward form makes it easy to use right away: set the height, check all four ferrules touch the floor, then walk with the stick positioned close to your body.
