This extra wide shower seat was designed in consultation with occupational therapists, end users and installers to meet everyday needs in a wetroom or shower. The larger seat area gives more room for comfort and safer side transfers while the strong construction provides a reliable seating platform with a maximum user weight of 254 kg (40 stone).

Adjustability is built in to help the seat suit different users and installations. You get two sets of leg heights supplied as standard so the seat can be set anywhere within a 390–640 mm seat height range, and the support foot can be fine adjusted by ±13 mm to take up any gradient in the shower floor and achieve a level sitting surface. The seat also folds away when not in use to free the shower for other family members.

Practical everyday use is considered throughout. The padded cushion is easily removable for cleaning and is secured by cushion fixing lugs to prevent movement during side transfers. The frame is made from rust-proof stainless steel to resist corrosion in wet environments, and the seat is available with either grey or blue cushions to help with comfort and visual contrast where needed.
