Crafted from high-quality Combustion Modified Ether (CME) foam, it resists "bottoming out", offering reliable pressure redistribution and comfort for patients at high risk of pressure ulcers. Measuring 1980mm x 1200mm x 150mm (78" x 47.25" x 6"), it comes as standard in the 1200mm width but can be bespoke-made to fit other bariatric bed frames. Encased in a durable, multi-stretch, vapour-permeable cover (with anti-fungal treatment) and fitted with a toughened, non-slip polyurethane base, it is built for hygiene, durability, and safety. The Maximus also carries a 4-year warranty, meets stringent fire safety standard BS 7177 Crib 5, and it’s compatible with hypochlorite-based disinfection protocols, making it well suited to demanding care settings.
