The CouchCane is a dedicated couch-side handle that offers a dependable handhold when moving from sitting to standing and back again. The unit features an ergonomic safety handle positioned for a comfortable grip and a frame that can be fitted to either side of a sofa or chair. Its adjustability helps you position the handle where it feels most secure, making it suitable for many typical living-room seats.

You can change the unit’s footprint to suit different furniture: the length adjusts between 535 mm and 840 mm, while the handle height adjusts between 735 mm and 815 mm so the cane reaches a comfortable, supportive level. The handle is designed for everyday use at home and supports users up to a maximum of 113.5 kg (18 stone). Check that the chosen position gives a stable feel before relying on the handle for a transfer.
