Detailed description
The Blanket Cradle is made to keep sheets, blankets and duvets lifted clear of the lower legs so bedding does not press on sensitive or injured areas. By holding the covers away from the body it promotes ventilation beneath the bedding and helps to provide local pressure relief. The cradle sits quietly under the mattress and is designed for everyday home use, making nights more comfortable for the user and easier to manage for carers.
Handling and placement are straightforward thanks to the lightweight construction. The unit weighs 1.8 kg (4 lbs), with a 760 mm base support that helps it remain secure when tucked under a mattress. The cradle gives a useful clearance with a 460 mm (18 in) height and a 410 mm (16 in) width, so it fits under most standard bedding and stays inconspicuous once in place.
