Its six alternating cells sit in a moulded visco foam base that not only offer the patient extreme levels of comfort and the best possible pressure relieving qualities, but also the design reduces the risk of the patient slipping forward. The Apollo 4 Plus uses an innovative battery-operated pump system that with an average user weight of 13 stone (82.7 kgs) can run up to 12 hours on a full charge therefore ensuring the patient receives the same pressure reduction throughout treatment.
