The Alerta Mobile Alternating Air Cushion System is a portable, battery‑powered alternating pressure cushion intended for use in hospital, nursing and care home environments. It supports both the prevention and treatment of users at high risk of pressure ulcers by providing alternating pressure relief where it is needed. The cushion’s cell‑on‑foam structure combines the support of a foam base with alternating air cells to help distribute pressure effectively during use.

A long‑lasting lithium‑ion battery is built into the pump unit so the cushion can operate away from a mains supply. You can select static mode for continuous support or dynamic mode for alternating cycles. In static mode, the battery can run for approximately 24–48 hours, while in dynamic mode it will run for at least one full day. The control panel includes clear charging, low battery and low pressure indicators to help carers monitor performance at a glance.

The cushion is supplied with independently removable, TPU‑coated cells and a fitted multi‑stretch, waterproof and vapour‑permeable cover, making routine cleaning simpler and helping to maintain hygiene. The pump is housed in an enclosed pump case with hanging straps for easy positioning and storage.
