The Nitrum Wheelchair is a lightweight, aluminium wheelchair that has been designed to provide the user with major incremental improvements on Sunrise Medical's flagship wheelchair, the Quickie Helium. To provide the user with a fully tailored, custom fit and to offer ultimate comfort and performance, the Nitrum Wheelchair frame has 2,880 different configurations. Manufactured using oval tubing, 7020 aluminium and hollow forged technology, Sunrise Medical has been able to maximise the rigidity of the Nitrum Wheelchair thus ensuring optimum manoeuvrability, yet still having the ability to remain incredibly lightweight. With its redesigned backrest and brackets, the Nitrum Wheelchair is truly hard-wearing and simpler to fold with only one hand using a new quick-release system.
