TCES prescriptions cover many types of equipment, all of which you can receive Free of Charge.
Once you have been assessed by a health or social care professional and have received your prescription. You, a relative or a friend can then simply arrange a visit to our Mobility Showroom where our friendly team will take you through all your options and equipment types you are eligible for. You don’t have to pre-book this visit but if you would like to let us know in advance of your visit you can feel free to call us on 0800 567 7222.

Your prescription is just the beginning of the process, upon your visit to us, our friendly team will take the time to show you the options available for your prescription and, where applicable, demonstrate the use of the equipment for your total peace of mind.
Topping-up (upgrading) your TCES prescription
In the event you would like to 'top-up' a piece of equipment, as in choosing an upgraded piece of equipment that goes beyond your prescription, you will simply pay the difference between the standard price and the upgraded price (please be assured that we will never seek to upgrade you, it is available as an option if you ask us).
Delivery and fitting of your equipment
During your assessment, if it has been established that you are not able to go to a shop to choose your equipment and nobody else can help you, then the assessor will prescribe delivery free of charge. We will see this on your prescription and make free delivery accordingly.
If you are not entitled to free delivery and you would still prefer your equipment to be delivered, you can arrange this directly with our team, but there may be a charge for this, we will discuss this with you on your visit.
If your relatives or carers are planning to collect and fit your equipment, then when they visit our showroom they will be given instructions for fitting the equipment in your home. They will also have to sign the prescription on your behalf.
