Basic Return To Base (RTB) Warranty

Our 'Return to Base' warranty covers all parts and labour required to repair any manufacturing defects that your mobility device may experience during the warranty period. Under this policy, in the event that your chair develops a manufacturing defect, it is your responsibility to return the product to our service centre.

Please note, while we ensure that all repair costs related to parts and labour are covered under this warranty, the arrangement and cost of transporting the chair to and from our service centre are not included.

Diamond Care Warranty

Diamond Care Warranty warranty goes beyond the standard coverage, encompassing not only all parts and labour necessary for repairs but also extending to cover the costs associated with any call-outs and the collection of your product for service in the event of a valid claim.

Under the Diamond Care Warranty, should your product experience any manufacturing defect, you can rest assured that the entire process of diagnosing, transporting, repairing, and returning your product will be managed and financed by us. This means that in the case of a valid warranty claim, you won't have to worry about the logistical hassles or expenses typically involved with getting your product serviced. Our aim is to ensure that your experience is as convenient and stress-free as possible.

Rest assured, for customers with Diamond or Ultimate warranty packages, we make every effort to respond promptly in the event of a manufacturing defect. Our goal is to address any issues at your premises within a span of 7-10 days. However, if the fault cannot be readily resolved on-site, we will arrange for the item to be collected, repaired, and promptly returned to you.

Please bear in mind that the typical turnaround time for collection, repair, and return is approximately 14 days, though it is possible for this duration to extend further in some cases. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated. It's important to note that, regrettably, we are unable to provide loan equipment or compensation during this period.

Our 5-Year Ultimate Warranty & Accidental Damage Cover expands on the protection our Diamond Care offers by additionally covering staining and accidental damage. This includes stains, rips or tears, burns, scratches, punctures, scuffs, and pet damage. It also protects against structural and mechanical defects. This means any issues with mechanical or electric recliners and their components, bending or breakage of metal components, damaged zips, castors, and buttons, separation of seams and stitching, lifting or peeling of leather, and loss of resilience in foam and fibre interiors are covered. This comprehensive plan is designed to ensure your furniture remains in excellent condition, offering you complete peace of mind against both accidental damage and natural wear and tear.

Please note that this option is not available if the chair is for commercial use eg. hospitals and care facilities where the chair will have multiple users

With the addition of a powered lumbar support and headrest this Riser Recliner helps to promote ultimate comfort and pressure relief. As a 4 Motor Riser Recliner, the Parkinson offers an infinite number of seating positions. Its 10" powered headrest allows the chair to be reclined while still offering maximum support for the neck, and the powered lumbar support gives pressure relief to the most important part of the back. Highly versatile, the Parkinson not only reclines the user to a comfortable seated position, but it can also gently lift the user to a standing position making it the ideal chair for those users that have difficulty standing up from an armchair. Traditional armchairs can often be the main cause of strain on the arms and wrists, but with the Parkinson Riser Recliner at the simple press of a button it will aid the user to stand up or sit down in a controlled, comfortable manner, this also helps to aid independence in the home. The handset on the Parkinson 4 Motor Riser Recliner Chair features light-emitting LED buttons and a useful USB charging port that will charge a mobile phone or tablet. Smart technology on this Rise and Recline chair, switches off after 20 seconds of being stationary, therefore helping to save electricity and wear and tear on the battery. Suitable for all users, the Parkinson 4 Motor Riser Recline is available in a range of sizes. It is also available in a range of colours, fabrics and with different backrest types to enable it to fit the decor with any room around the home. Accidents happen and that is why we offer an optional Staingard Plus furniture protection plan. Staingard Furniture Care plans cover structural failure, accidental damage and accidental staining.

The care plan provides cover for a comprehensive range of household accidents that result in damage or staining to your furniture. Following the delivery of your furniture you will receive a document detailing this and also how to make a claim. It's important to recognise that you're not covered for a lack of care of your furniture or abuse, and multiple stains and damages sustained over an extended period of time are similarly not covered.
