The Aluminium Transit Wheelchair has been designed to provide the user with extreme comfort at all times, this is shown through its full length, padded armrests and large seating area. To aid with easy transfers both onto and off this Lightweight Wheelchair it comes supplied with swing away footrests. The transit wheelchair has 300mm (12") puncture proof rear solid tyres that are incredibly durable and hardwearing and require very little maintenance, whilst the cable brakes can be operated by even those with limited hand strength and allow the carer to control the wheelchair and reduce its speed more effectively. To maximise user safety and security the brakes can be locked when parking and a one touch lap belt is supplied as standard.
