Basic Return To Base (RTB) Warranty

Our 'Return to Base' warranty covers all parts and labour required to repair any manufacturing defects that your mobility device may experience during the warranty period. Under this policy, in the event that your chair develops a manufacturing defect, it is your responsibility to return the product to our service centre.

Please note, while we ensure that all repair costs related to parts and labour are covered under this warranty, the arrangement and cost of transporting the chair to and from our service centre are not included.

Diamond Care Warranty

Diamond Care Warranty warranty goes beyond the standard coverage, encompassing not only all parts and labour necessary for repairs but also extending to cover the costs associated with any call-outs and the collection of your product for service in the event of a valid claim.

Under the Diamond Care Warranty, should your product experience any manufacturing defect, you can rest assured that the entire process of diagnosing, transporting, repairing, and returning your product will be managed and financed by us. This means that in the case of a valid warranty claim, you won't have to worry about the logistical hassles or expenses typically involved with getting your product serviced. Our aim is to ensure that your experience is as convenient and stress-free as possible.

Rest assured, for customers with Diamond or Ultimate warranty packages, we make every effort to respond promptly in the event of a manufacturing defect. Our goal is to address any issues at your premises within a span of 7-10 days. However, if the fault cannot be readily resolved on-site, we will arrange for the item to be collected, repaired, and promptly returned to you.

Please bear in mind that the typical turnaround time for collection, repair, and return is approximately 14 days, though it is possible for this duration to extend further in some cases. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated. It's important to note that, regrettably, we are unable to provide loan equipment or compensation during this period.

Our 5-Year Ultimate Warranty & Accidental Damage Cover expands on the protection our Diamond Care offers by additionally covering staining and accidental damage. This includes stains, rips or tears, burns, scratches, punctures, scuffs, and pet damage. It also protects against structural and mechanical defects. This means any issues with mechanical or electric recliners and their components, bending or breakage of metal components, damaged zips, castors, and buttons, separation of seams and stitching, lifting or peeling of leather, and loss of resilience in foam and fibre interiors are covered. This comprehensive plan is designed to ensure your furniture remains in excellent condition, offering you complete peace of mind against both accidental damage and natural wear and tear.

Please note that this option is not available if the chair is for commercial use eg. hospitals and care facilities where the chair will have multiple users

This Single Motor Rise and Recline chair boasts an elegant and stylish design and is available in three colours to suit any decor, it is also finished in a soft PU fabric that can be easily wiped clean. Its ergonomically contoured seat and three tier waterfall style backrest along with the padded upholstery combine together to provide the user with extreme levels of comfort and support when sitting in the chair. Fitted with a single motor that raises the leg rest and at the same time reclines the back to allow the user to select the best and most comfortable resting position. The motor is almost silent and provides smooth and discreet operation. For ease of use the Dorchester Single Motor Riser Recliner is supplied with a simple two button handset.

Accidents happen and that is why we offer an optional Staingard Plus furniture protection plan. Staingard Furniture Care plans cover structural failure, accidental damage and accidental staining.

The care plan provides cover for a comprehensive range of household accidents that result in damage or staining to your furniture. Following the delivery of your furniture you will receive a document detailing this and also how to make a claim. It's important to recognise that you're not covered for a lack of care of your furniture or abuse, and multiple stains and damages sustained over an extended period of time are similarly not covered.
