Well actually, there’s a couple of Autumns to mention, Firstly the Meteorological Autumn, which by the meteorological calendar the first day of autumn is always 1st of September; ending on 30 November.
Wow… well what a year it’s been so far, and who could have known all the turmoil we’d all be going through with Covid-19, lockdown and shielding (words none of us had even heard in 2019)!
Celebrating Father’s everywhere is what Father’s Day in the UK is all about.
With the weather getting better and the shoots of lockdown beginning to be relaxed, we can hopefully look forward to some more freedoms and to make the most of enjoying both home and getting out and about a bit more.

We all know that our mums are the best - it’s their love and guidance that shapes so much of who we are, and Mother’s Day is that once-a-year opportunity to pause and appreciate what the gift of motherhood means.
In this gap between Christmas and Spring, we all need a little something to cheer us up and remind ourselves that in a few short weeks, we’ll be in Spring weather and (hopefully!) through all the winter weather.
